About the job

As a results-driven member of the Modere Management Committee and under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Global Project Management Office (PMO) will be at the forefront of cultivating and maintaining relationships throughout Modere. Must thrive in a team-oriented professional environment and work with team members to achieve strategic goals. Will partner with executives across the organization in the planning, development, implementation, and optimization of projects.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee Global Energy Map Process, and work with global team members and PMO team to keep current
  • Weekly reporting to Management Committee on company priorities, status and project risks 
  • Accountable for new market openings and expansion projects
  • Accountable for new product launches ensuring on-time delivery and focused timelines
  • Accountable for current product projects that include reformulations, packaging updates or any other changes impacting existing SKU formulas and packaging changes
  • Accountable for the Product Development Stage Gate Process and improving processes within the scope of the procedure
  • Meet with Global teams and PMO team members regularly to discuss process improvement initiatives
  • Direct project meetings as needed, assign action items, provide status reporting, problem resolution and feedback by fostering open communication with the team on project planning and implementation
  • Ensure that project team members have a clear comprehension of timelines, tasks, risks and issues
  • Proactively identify changes on work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external resources
  • Ensure appropriate involvement of affected groups in project activities; ensure all groups know and agree to their project obligations
  • Ensure appropriate project documentation and communication takes place, both internally and externally
  • Work closely with departments on high priority projects and risks ensuring alignment
  • Develop innovative solutions to address project risks (ex. working groups/targeted meetings)
  • Change Control Requests Reviews and Approvals for Market Support
  • Perform post launch meetings for continuous improvement
  • Oversight of SKU harmonization meetings to identify where SKU's should be discontinued or where we need to focus energy in Sales and Marketing
  • Other company projects as assigned

Skills and experience we would like to see

  • 10+ years of expert-level knowledge of project management and methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches
  • Experience in health & wellness or consumer products is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Exceptional verbal/written communications, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation, and training skills to influence an environment driven by customer experience and teamwork 
  • Fluency in MS Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook are required
  • Strong logical and critical thinking knowledge
  • Demonstrated leadership experience to establish and oversee a high-performance team; proven knowledge of how to mentor and develop team
  • Location: Utah
